Wades' Cakes Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Wades' Cakes! By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Ordering

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order, including:

    • Contact details
    • ​Pickup or delivery information
    • ​Requested date and time
    • ​Cake size, flavors, fillings, toppings, and decorations
  • Orders are only considered confirmed once they have been reviewed and accepted by Wades' Cakes.
  • We recommend placing orders at least one week in advance. Short-notice orders may be accepted depending on availability.

2. Cake Designs and Custom Orders

  • Wades' Cakes will make every effort to create cakes according to the customer's selected options and instructions.
  • Please note that:

    • Handmade cakes may have small variations from photos or examples.
    • Colors, decorations, and designs may vary slightly due to materials, lighting, and the handmade nature of our products.
    • Wades' Cakes reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments if certain decorations or ingredients are unavailable.

3. Payment

  • Payment must be completed using one of the available payment methods provided at checkout.
  • Orders may require payment confirmation before production begins.
  • If payment has not been received by the required time, Wades' Cakes reserves the right to delay or cancel the order.

4. Changes and Cancellations

  • Customers may request changes to an order, but changes cannot be guaranteed once preparation has started.
  • Cancellation policies:

    • Cancellations made before production begins may be eligible for a refund or adjustment.
    • Once production has started, refunds may not be available due to the custom nature of cakes.
  • Please contact Wades' Cakes as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your order.

5. Pickup

  • Customers are responsible for collecting their order at the selected pickup time.
  • Please ensure cakes are transported carefully after pickup. Wades' Cakes is not responsible for damage caused after the cake has been collected.

6. Delivery

  • For delivered orders:
  • Customers must provide accurate delivery information.
  • Someone must be available to receive the order unless another arrangement has been made.
  • Delivery times may be affected by weather, traffic, or circumstances outside of our control.
  • Wades' Cakes is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

7. Storage and Care

  • Cakes should be stored according to the instructions provided at pickup or delivery.
  • Wades' Cakes is not responsible for damage caused by improper storage, handling, heat exposure, or transportation after the cake has been received.

8. Allergens and Dietary Requirements

  • Customers must inform Wades' Cakes of any allergies or dietary requirements when ordering.
  • While we may offer certain ingredient options, Wades' Cakes operates in a kitchen where various ingredients may be present. We cannot guarantee that products are completely free from allergens.
  • Customers are responsible for informing guests of any potential allergens.

9. Product Quality

  • Wades' Cakes takes pride in creating fresh, high-quality cakes. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your cake so we can address the issue.

10. Privacy

  • Customer information collected during ordering is used only for processing orders, communication, and improving our services.
  • We do not sell or share customer information with third parties except when required to provide our services.

11. Agreement

  • By placing an order with Wades' Cakes, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
